Languages sought: Mandarin, Cantonese, Middle Eastern (Farsi and Pashtu), Portuguese, Urdu, Arabic, Vietnamese and African.
Scope of the position: Scientific Verbatim Transcription, Characteristic Identification, Event Identification/Diarization, Content/Entity Extraction, Image/Video Annotation, and Corporate Data Management Support.

DLPT or Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Skill Levels Scale 3/3 or better.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) or Information Assurance (IA) analysis.
The principal responsibility of the expert linguist is to annotate media for technologies that process spoken language.
Primary needs are for voice analysis experience, linguistic capabilities, and computer skills (SUN/UNIX familiarity) to enable use of Government provided software tools.
Agency's PQE or Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT) exams are acceptable forms to document the language expertise.
Exam score or certification must clearly document the expertise (listening, speaking, reading and writing) in the specific language/dialect and when the exam was taken.
The skill levels needed to accomplish the task are set such that the annotations are accurate and completed in the established time.
DLPT 3/3, TS/SCI full clearance with full scope polygraph.
Due to the nature of this work, excellent native, command of the English Language is required both verbally and oral.
